The Local Business Spotlight series aims to provide UC Berkeley Haas alums with the opportunity to meet local business owners, get more connected with the San Francisco community, learn about alternative career paths and find inspiration for something new.
We invite you to join us for our first series event at The Brew Coop on Monday, November 18, 2019 with business owner Gore Song (BS’13) who will share:
- his journey from investment banking and private equity to running San Francisco’s first self-pour taproom and restaurant
- how he built the business
- the impact of his business on the local community

What is The Brew Coop?
The Brew Coop is San Francisco’s first self-pour taproom and restaurant. DIY and try 26 kinds of craft beer, cider, kombucha, wine, and more, all charged by the ounce! And if you’re hungry, we have a great bar menu of the usual suspects, dressed up with globally inspired flavors. With the NFL and NBA seasons going strong, The Brew Coop is the perfect place to catch the game, plan a happy hour, or a bigger event!
